Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a personal injury law firm in Westbury, New York. With a 1:1 attorney-to-paralegal ratio, you will have the resources needed to efficiently manage cases and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury cases independently, from initial filing to resolution, with the support of a dedicated paralegal.

• Draft and file legal documents including motions, complaints, and demand letters.

• Conduct discovery by preparing and responding to requests, ensuring thorough case preparation.

• Meet with new and existing clients to discuss case details, provide updates, and offer legal advice.

• Prepare for and represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies and solutions for complex cases.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring compliance with legal standards.

• Stay updated on changes in personal injury law to provide informed legal counsel. Requirements • Must be a licensed attorney with authorization to practice law.

• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation or personal injury law.

• Proven ability to draft motions, complaints, and other legal documents.

• Strong skills in discovery processes, including preparing and responding to requests.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client meetings and courtroom representation.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Experience preparing for and conducting trials, mediations, and depositions.

• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes.
