Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Houma, Louisiana. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards, providing valuable insights to support business operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced technical expertise, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to improving financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

• Manage the consolidation of financial data across various service lines and operational locations.

• Coordinate audit processes by preparing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

• Enhance internal controls and operational procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Investigate complex accounting issues, propose solutions, and implement new standards effectively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations.

• Lead initiatives to streamline reporting, closing processes, and compliance activities.

• Mentor and support entry level accounting staff, fostering their growth and attention to detail.

• Ensure timely submission of required filings at local, state, and federal levels. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within industrial services or similar industries.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and financial consolidations.

• Proven ability to work with financial reporting systems and maintain compliance with internal controls.

• Experience with audit processes, including preparation and coordination.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
