Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to manage financial processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining receivables, managing collections, and supporting billing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate recording.

• Oversee commercial collections activities, following up with clients on overdue invoices.

• Apply payments to customer accounts through proper cash application procedures.

• Monitor and reconcile accounts for discrepancies, addressing issues promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing functions and resolve customer inquiries.

• Generate regular reports to track receivables and collection metrics.

• Maintain detailed records of transactions and communication for audit purposes.

• Support month-end closing processes by providing accurate accounts receivable data.

• Assist in identifying process improvements for enhanced efficiency in receivables management. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash applications.

• Proficiency in managing billing functions and financial reconciliation.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
