    Description

    We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role offers a high degree of flexibility and is a remote opportunity, with occasional on-site visits if necessary. The ideal candidate will excel in managing key accounting tasks, including reconciliations, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable processing, and journal entry postings, while contributing to a seamless financial operation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records align with transactions.

    • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.

    • Conduct accurate data entry to support accurate financial documentation and reporting.

    • Utilize accounting software, such as NetSuite, to streamline financial processes and reporting.

    • Provide bookkeeping support to maintain detailed financial records and assist in audits.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with strong attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in bank and credit card reconciliations and posting journal entries.

    • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

    • Experience with accounting software, ideally NetSuite, is highly preferred.

    • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to deadlines.
