    Description

    A well-established nursery in Vista is looking for a bilingual HR Assistant to provide comprehensive HR and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting both operational and employee-related HR functions in a family-focused environment. The HR Assistant will serve as the HR liaison for staff members, assisting with onboarding, documentation, scheduling, and reporting. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and an ability to support a diverse workforce.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Prepare and maintain personnel files, contracts, and HR documentation

    + Support bilingual communication between staff, management, and parents

    + Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance documentation

    + Track employee attendance, certifications, and training schedules

    + Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools for management

    + Coordinate calendars, meetings, and HR-related events

    + Support general office administration, including correspondence and filing

    + Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and staff satisfaction

    Requirements

    + High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish required

    + 1–3 years of HR or administrative support experience

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software

    + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

    + Positive, professional demeanor with flexibility to support changing priorities
