Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in QuickBooks and have a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and process invoices for customers, including handling transactions for bulk purchases and ensuring accurate entry into QuickBooks.

• Record and process payments, including credit card transactions and checks, and manage bank deposits.

• Perform light collections activities as needed to ensure timely payments.

• Administer payroll tasks, including importing employee hours, setting up new team members, and processing weekly payroll for Florida-based staff.

• Maintain accurate records of benefits deductions and assist with onboarding documentation for new employees.

• Support bank reconciliation processes.

• Organize and manage filing systems, along with other general office administrative duties.

• Assist with human resources tasks such as completing new employee paperwork and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Experience in payroll administration, including handling employee hours and deductions.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures and financial accuracy.

• Excellent organizational skills for managing administrative tasks and filing systems.

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and external contacts.
