Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Spokane, Washington. In this role, you will handle data entry tasks while applying basic accounting knowledge to support accurate financial operations. This position requires precision, efficiency, and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain accurate financial data into accounting systems.

• Verify and reconcile invoices, ensuring all documentation aligns with company standards.

• Utilize QuickBooks to process and track payments, if applicable.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounts payable tasks.

• Maintain organized records of transactions and financial documentation.

• Assist in resolving discrepancies or errors in billing and payment processes.

• Perform numeric and alphanumeric data entry with speed and accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during data processing.

• Provide support for other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting or finance setting.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong typing skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with numeric and alphanumeric data entry.

• Proficiency in using computers and accounting software.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
