Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

• Handle billing activities, including generating invoices and monitoring payments.

• Execute data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Review and process invoices efficiently to support daily operations.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage accounting functions.

• Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain organized documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques.

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong skills in billing and invoice processing.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Adept at data entry with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
