Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in York, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable processes within a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a modern, open-concept office while contributing to the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Assign proper account codes to invoices and transactions.

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and ensure timely processing.

• Conduct regular check runs to handle vendor payments.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable workflows.

• Address discrepancies or issues with invoices and payments promptly.

• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.

• Support the redesign of AP department processes to enhance efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve payment-related inquiries.

• Assist with additional tasks as required to meet departmental goals.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of accounts payable processing experience.

• Strong knowledge of invoice coding and account coding processes.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

• Ability to efficiently handle check runs and payment schedules.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Proficiency in accounting software and systems.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
