    Job Title: Hardware Design EngineerJob Description

     

    Join a dynamic team focused on the design verification for complex IPs and sub-systems within modern FPGAs. You will develop and execute verification test plans, which includes building testbench infrastructure, creating test cases, implementing checkers, writing functional coverage and assertions, and developing reusable verification components. Your role will also involve performing coverage analysis, running simulations and regressions, and debugging test failures.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze information for project planning and execution.

    + Create and modify existing environments and components to verify features in a UVM simulation environment.

    + Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.

    + Evaluate reporting formats, constraints, and security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.

    + Monitor equipment function and make necessary modifications to ensure system conformity to specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Extensive experience in IP level verification using UVM and System Verilog within the last 3 years.

    + Advanced knowledge of UVM and System Verilog programming languages.

    + Basic knowledge of Verilog RTL programming language.

    + Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

    + Experience with ASIC or FPGA based verification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 10 years of overall experience in the field.

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.

    + Creativity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Team player and detail-oriented.

    + Knowledge of AMBA AXI protocol is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

    You will be part of a team working in Azure Core, focused on developing an FPGA to accelerate storage and networking flow. This role contributes to the Azure Boost project, aimed at enhancing cloud performance through FPGA acceleration in storage and networking. The work environment is collaborative, and you will be engaged with cutting-edge technology to drive innovation in cloud solutions.

    This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
