Job Title: Tariff Process SpecialistJob Description

Join our dynamic team as a Tariff Process Specialist, where you will collaborate closely with Buyers and Suppliers to understand and manage the internal and external Tariff Process. Your role will be crucial in supporting Buyers and Suppliers, gathering essential information for internal approval and customer recovery, and ensuring complete documentation for the Tariff Review Board.

Responsibilities

+ Work with Buyers and Suppliers to understand the internal and external Tariff Process, including ongoing changes.

+ Support Buyers and Suppliers in gathering information for internal approval and customer recovery.

+ Independently evaluate supplier responses on behalf of the Buyers.

+ Ensure complete documentation for the Tariff Review Board.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables and formulas.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide accurate reporting.

+ Experience in procurement, purchasing, ERP, supply chain, and engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate's Degree required.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.

+ Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

+ Automotive industry experience is advantageous.

+ Experience with tariffs is preferred.

+ Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and supply strategies.

Work Environment

This position is part of the Purchasing Group at our large manufacturing facility in Harrodsburg, which employs over 500 individuals. As a supplier of automotive components to various auto OEMs, you must be willing to work on-site in Harrodsburg for training during the first few weeks. The role will primarily be remote, with the requirement to work in the office two days a week. This is a Contract position based out of Harrodsburg, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
