Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and evaluating lab-scale samples, supporting customer technical programs, conducting process and product research, and assisting in manufacturing support. This role requires a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

+ Generate and evaluate lab-scale samples for customer technical programs.

+ Conduct process and product research programs and provide manufacturing support.

+ Troubleshoot and maintain equipment necessary for production and routine processing.

+ Evaluate properties and support machine scale-up work.

+ Maintain appropriate logs, notebooks, and other records, including computer documents.

+ Conduct internet and other information searches as needed for problem-solving.

+ Perform stoichiometric calculations for production using computer programs or hand calculations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in laboratory work, with 1-3 years in a similar role.

+ Proficiency in performing stoichiometric calculations.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment.

+ Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Understanding and adherence to EHS SOPs and Responsible Care rules, regulations, and guidelines.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with more than one technical supervisor.

+ Competency in interfacing with manufacturing and research personnel, and customers when needed.

+ Capability of providing timely results to assure product quality.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to interface with various functions such as manufacturing and research personnel. The role involves managing multiple tasks and maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to EHS SOPs and Responsible Care guidelines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Filer, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
