    We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting of machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronic issues, conducting machine audits, and performing preventative maintenance. This role involves installing, commissioning, and setting up products at customer facilities, identifying root cause problems, and providing training to customers and coworkers.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance and setup work on machinery.

    + Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically and electronically.

    + Conduct machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance.

    + Install, commission, and set up products in customer facilities.

    + Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines.

    + Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting.

    + Changeover and setup change parts running clearance and timing.

    + Provide training to customers and coworkers.

    + Engage in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support internal operations.

    Essential Skills

    + 4 plus years of mechanical/electrical experience OR field service experience.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Experience working with customers.

    + Previous programming experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum two-year technical school training in a related field.

    + Intermediate level of experience with AUTO CAD Mechanical and Electrical.

    + Manufacturing experience in the food and beverage industry.

    Work Environment

    This role requires up to 100% travel, including some weekends and nights, primarily within the U.S. and occasionally to Canada. When not traveling, you will work at a large, clean manufacturing facility with automated equipment. Most travel trips last between 5-10 days, with some extending up to 3 weeks. You must live within an hour of an airport. The position involves 12-hour workdays, approximately 60 hours a week. A company credit card is provided for travel expenses, and a per diem for meals is offered. Personal vehicle use is reimbursed for mileage, though flights are encouraged.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastlake, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
