We are partnering up with the world's largest E-commerce Company helping them hire an experienced and highly motivated Pre-Construction Manager to join their team and support new builds, renovations and expansions within their Fulfillment Centers across the US.

Job Title: Pre-Construction Manager
Job Description
The Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for managing new builds, renovations, and expansions of Fulfillment Centers across the US. This role ensures effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing all aspects of design, schedule, and budgeting to ensure on-time delivery. The manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors project progress while ensuring compliance with design criteria and spending policies. The role involves preparing reports for upper management and requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities
+ Obtain and document all specifics regarding projects from site selection and transaction management. Research and compile all available information for the site.
+ Coordinate engineering and architectural specifications for each building type, including internal composite coordination and site-specific information.
+ Coordinate initial architectural design and permit submittals as required.
+ Develop and provide supporting documents for lease execution, such as site plans, work letters, schedules, and phasing plans.
+ Develop initial construction schedules and sequences for phasing of construction if necessary.
+ Create construction estimates for capital requests and other planning efforts.
+ Manage due diligence, utility, and other coordination efforts prior to construction hand-off.
+ Provide complete and accurate documentation for construction handoff, including contacts, drawings, permit status, and more.
+ Maintain a repository for all pre-construction work products by site.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
+ At least 7 years of experience in a related discipline such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
+ 7+ years of project management experience from design phase through implementation and operation.
+ 7+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
+ Stakeholder management and contract review skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in at least two disciplines within the construction industry, such as General Contracting, Owner’s Representation, or Commercial Development.
+ Success in communicating project requirements to various audiences.
+ Experience in facilities management or similar roles, including planning, design review, and implementation.
+ Program management of concurrent projects.
+ Project Management accreditation (PMP® or similar).
+ Experience with parking lots is desirable.
Work Environment
This position is fully remote with 20% travel required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $68.00/hr.
