    Laboratory Technician

     

    Shift: First Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

    About the Role:

    Join our dynamic team as a Laboratory Technician specializing in coatings. You’ll perform hands-on testing and formulation work to ensure quality and innovation in our paint products. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals with a passion for chemistry and problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct laboratory tests using conventional and computerized equipment.

    + Prepare and paint panels for evaluation.

    + Formulate and mix paints; run physical and wet chemistry tests (viscosity, pH, titrations).

    + Analyze data and maintain accurate documentation.

    + Operate and calibrate lab instruments according to standards.

    + Collaborate with a larger team to meet project goals.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Degree preferred (Chemistry or related field), but non-degreed candidates with strong lab experience are welcome.

    + Coatings experience is highly favorable; organic chemistry coursework is a plus.

    + Basic lab knowledge and ability to perform routine tests.

    + Strong attention to detail and professionalism.

    This is a Contract position based out of Independence, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
