Job Title: Systems EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to engage in systems engineering activities that ensure the successful delivery of a new signal and data processing capability. The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in software or systems engineering with a focus on architectural design, requirements decomposition, integration and testing, and verification and validation. This role requires a solid understanding of client-server architectures and networking techniques and protocols, as well as a close partnership with software developers.

Responsibilities

+ Architectural design of electronic systems or subsystems.

+ Conduct requirements analysis and decomposition.

+ Design and validate external and internal interfaces.

+ Integrate hardware/software, subsystems, and systems.

+ Plan and conduct verification and validation activities.

+ Engage in specialty engineering such as reliability, availability, maintainability, and human systems integration.

+ Develop deliverable products and other artifacts.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ years of experience in software or systems engineering activities.

+ Proficient in requirements management, integration testing, and signal processing.

+ Technical hands-on engineering experience leading the development of tangible software/hardware deliverables.

+ Experience with ground systems, signal processing/DSP, RF, GPS.

+ Proficiency in C/C++, Linux, MATLAB, radio frequency, and electromechanical systems.

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.

+ Experience with GNSS (GPS, Galileo).

+ Experience using Linux, C/C++, MATLAB, and IBM DOORS.

+ Experience in RF communications systems development and test.

+ Knowledge of RF communications systems theory, especially in analog/digital modulation/demodulation.

+ Knowledge of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC).

+ Knowledge of real-time embedded landing systems.

+ Experience working with safety assurance processes and engineers.

+ Experience performing failure modes and effects analysis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $190000.00/yr.

- 25% 401k contribution - 25% IBA contribution
