    As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the chemistry department by utilizing Roche machines for serum testing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a leading diagnostic laboratory with significant potential for growth and learning.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct serum testing in the chemistry department using Roche machines.

    + Ensure accurate and efficient laboratory testing in compliance with CLIA standards.

    + Collaborate with a team of five to maintain seamless overnight operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in life science, preferably a BS in chemistry or biology.

    + At least 1 year of experience in a CLIA Lab, with a focus on toxicology.

    + Experience with Roche 5598 machine or similar laboratory equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in any laboratory setting is beneficial.

    + Ability to work comfortably in an overnight shift.

    Work Environment

    This position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Training will be provided for two weeks on the same schedule. Employees have access to a coffee bar for night shifts and a 24-hour quick check near the lab for breaks. The work environment is collaborative and offers great training, with opportunities for growth in various departments. Although this is a contract position, there is potential to transition to a permanent role, with new opportunities in the Toxicology line of business starting in April 2025.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holyoke, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.50 - $31.50/hr.
