Field Service Engineer

As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the commissioning of building automation systems tailored for each customer. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual who can act as a role model for other field engineers. You will address complex problems, lead training for less experienced engineers, and serve as a field contact for product and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
+ Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
+ Serve as the local contact for resolving technical issues.
+ Provide effective solutions for complex system challenges.
+ Deliver turnkey project completion on medium to large projects.
+ Ensure proper operation of systems, including controls, sensors, and software.
+ Load software and configure trends, alarms, and reports.
+ Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Communicate and document project status and details for the customer.
+ Provide site-specific training to owners and operators on complete systems.
Essential Skills
+ Troubleshooting
+ Electrical expertise
+ Experience in Building Automation Systems, Controls, HVAC, or a technical field.
+ Proficiency in building automation software such as WebCTRL, PID Loops, BCAnet, and MODbus
+ Experience with automation and controls installation and troubleshooting
+ Mechanical and electronics knowledge
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems, Controls, HVAC, or a related technical field.
+ 2+ years of experience with building automation software, particularly WebCTRL.
+ 2+ years of experience in automation and controls installation and troubleshooting.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Whitsett, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Engineering, Computer Science), or a similar technical discipline. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related technical role, ideally in manufacturing or product testing environments for computer systems or electronic devices.

This is a fully onsite position in Whitsett,NC.
