    Job Summary:

    BrandSafway is seeking an experienced **Heavy Equipment Operator** to join our team in Hastings, Nebraska. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment in support of site operations. This is a local position; no per diem or relocation assistance is offered.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner in accordance with company and site safety policies

    + Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly

    + Operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to:

     

    - Front-end loader (primary)

     

    - Road grader

     

    - Fuel truck

     

    - Water truck

    - Truck and trailer

    + Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operations around personnel, structures, and utilities

    + Follow job site plans and directions from supervisors and site management

    + Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements

    Qualifications

    + OSHA 10 certification required

    + Valid CDL driver’s license preferred

    + Minimum 2+ years of experience operating front-end loaders and road graders

    + Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy equipment

    + Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures

    + Must be able to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions

     

    $35-$40/hour
