    Description

    Seeking a skilled leader to oversee the design, fabrication, qualification, maintenance, and optimization of tooling and molds for manufacturing processes. This role manages a team of toolmakers and machinists, ensuring technical excellence, safety, and efficiency while meeting timelines and cost targets. Responsibilities include internal and outsourced tooling projects, process improvements, and alignment of specifications across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of tools and molds, from design through maintenance. Implement organizational systems for tracking tools. Ensure equipment calibration and preventative maintenance. Provide estimates for tooling projects; support capital requests and purchase orders. Lead design reviews and oversee tool construction. Create process improvements. Manage validation of equipment and processes Troubleshoot tooling issues. Drive continuous improvement. Lead the team. Responsible to department budget

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
