    Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description

     

    The Project Superintendent (PS) is responsible for project site coordination, scheduling subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring site safety, maintaining quality and productivity, and fostering strong relationships with the project building team.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee on-site execution of work, ensuring adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project schedule.

    + Foster strong collaboration with project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety protocols by conducting orientations and inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing safety plans.

    + Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety through consistent behavior and leadership.

    + Monitor and manage the general conditions budget to support the financial success of the project by controlling and reducing costs.

    + Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and project diaries.

    + Participate in owner meetings to provide updates and address project needs.

    + Secure necessary permits, approvals, and inspections from governmental agencies and utility providers.

    + Lead the preparation and completion of punch lists and closeout documentation.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent supporting ground up, industrial, and/or data center work.

    + Experience with precast and tilt-wall projects.

    + Proficiency in Procore & Bluebeam Software.

    + Experience creating look-ahead schedules.

    + OSHA 30 certification.

    + CPR/AED/BBP and First Aid Training.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in industrial construction, construction management, and site construction.

    + Familiarity with MS Project is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The office is located in Oak Brook, IL, in a beautifully renovated space. Initial training and orientation will take place at the office for the first 1-2 weeks. Project locations are likely in Colorado or California, with a preference for candidates from the Midwest or West regions.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $72.12/hr.
