Job Title: Architect - Retail construction
Job Description
Join a dynamic and collaborative Retail Studio in Seattle as an Intermediate Architectural Staff member. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in a team environment and are passionate about producing high-quality construction documents in a fast-paced setting. You will be an integral part of a supportive team where you can make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
+ Produce full sets of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
+ Apply building codes and technical detailing to ensure compliance.
+ Coordinate with consultants and internal teams for seamless project execution.
+ Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools effectively.
+ Support site planning, material selection, and cost estimating processes.
+ Engage in light project management and client interaction as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in producing detailed, code-compliant drawing sets using Revit.
+ Skilled in technical coordination and applying building codes and standards.
+ Clear communicator who collaborates well with teams and meets deadlines.
+ Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects, particularly in food and beverage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to lead junior staff and contribute to team coordination.
+ Comfortable supporting client interactions.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position working in pacific time zone hours.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
