Architectural Designer

Job Description

The Junior Architectural Designer will play a key role in the early stages of design, including concept development, schematic design, and visualization. This position is ideal for creative individuals passionate about shaping ideas into compelling architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

+ Support main designer in initial design phase using Revit, Lumion, and Enscape.

+ Complete construction documents for mixed-use multi-family projects and various commercial projects as needed.

+ Render and collaborate with senior designers to brainstorm and refine design concepts.

+ Research site conditions, zoning requirements, and client objectives to inform design direction.

+ Work closely with internal teams to ensure design feasibility.

+ Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders during iterative design phases.

+ Stay current on architectural trends, materials, and sustainability practices.

+ Explore creative solutions that align with project goals and budget.

Essential Skills

+ 1-3 years experience within architecture and initial design phases using Lumion or Enscape.

+ Full proficiency in Revit, Red Lines, and Construction Drawings.

+ Experience with ground-up wood-frame 33-300 unit projects.

+ Understanding of mixed-use multi-family residential projects.

+ Strong understanding of building codes and ADA requirements.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Orange, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.46/hr.
