    Job Title: Project Engineer - Building Automation Systems

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in building automation. As a Project Engineer, you will oversee project processes ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. You will play a critical role in managing the financial performance of projects and maintaining strong relationships with sub-contractors.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead projects following established project processes and provide direction to assisting Project Engineers.

    + Complete projects in accordance with contractual requirements, ensuring they are delivered on-time and within budget, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

    + Manage the overall financial performance of assigned projects, including planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs.

    + Coordinate the delivery of contracted scopes and secure change orders for scope expansion.

    + Oversee project materials and shared resource use; identify resource constraints and assist with corrective action plans.

    + Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in HVAC (Building Automation Controls) from a 3- or 4-year program.

    + PMP Certification.

    + Ability to lead and motivate teams.

    + Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.

    + Working knowledge of project financial reporting.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in electrical, electronics, project coordination, project management, and building automation systems.

    + Proficiency in project scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.

    + Familiarity with MS Excel.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Clifton, NJ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
