    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description

     

    This role is responsible for leading the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan and perform large and complex assemblies and direct others with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with assembly jobs as assigned, performing inspections throughout the process to ensure quality, and reducing scheduled time for jobs. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential. The role may require operating a variety of hand and power tools such as a band saw, drill press, grinder, and belt sander.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead assembly of components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints.

    + Plan and perform large, complex assemblies.

    + Direct others with minimal supervision.

    + Assist with assigned assembly jobs.

    + Perform inspections to ensure quality throughout the process.

    + Reduce scheduled time for job completion.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    + Operate various hand and power tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Strong mechanical assembly skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing assembly.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Fond du Lac, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.50/hr.
