Job Title: Metal Fabricator

**Shift:** 2nd shift (2:00pm-12am M-F)

**Pay:** $20+ based on skills and experience

**Location:** Ocala, FL (34474)

Job Summary

We are seeking a **Fabricator** to join our shop team. This role involves fabricating and assembling a wide range of metal products including: railings, ladders, stairs, baffles, floor hatches, pole line hardware, and more. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with fabrication equipment, hand tools, and basic welding.

Key Responsibilities

+ Fabricate and assemble metal products including **handrails, railings, ladders, stairs, baffles, floor hatches, and pole line hardware**

+ Layout, cut, bend, fit, and tack weld components

+ Operate shop equipment including **press brakes, shears, rollers, and digibenders**

+ Deburr parts using hand and power tools

+ Read and interpret **blueprints and shop drawings**

+ Accurately measure materials using a **tape measure**

+ Perform tack welding to assemble components

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ **Metal fabrication experience** (Intermediate level)

+ Ability to **tack weld**

+ Experience using **press brakes, shears, and rollers**

+ Strong **tape measure** skills (must read without issue)

+ Ability to read **blueprints**

+ Comfortable using various hand and power tools

+ Experience deburring and assembling fabricated parts

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous **handrail fabrication** experience

+ Familiarity with digibenders

+ Structural or architectural metal experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OCALA, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
