    Job Title: Process Coach

    Job Description

    As a supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in coaching safety, quality, and productivity to ensure objectives are met by following standardized work practices. Your main goal is to optimize throughput while adhering to budgets and cost objectives. You will also be responsible for monitoring ANDON occurrences and acting as a first responder for secondary support. Through Process Confirmation, you will verify that the line operates safely, efficiently, and produces quality parts. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement initiatives and coach problem resolution at the lowest level, ensure effective communication, and recognize team achievements.

    Responsibilities

    + Coach safety, quality, and productivity to meet objectives through standardized work.

    + Optimize throughput in line with budgets and cost objectives.

    + Monitor ANDON occurrences and act as a first responder for secondary support.

    + Verify through Process Confirmation that the line runs safely, smoothly, and produces quality parts.

    + Support Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and coach problem resolution at the lowest level.

    + Ensure effective communication and recognition within the team.

    + Meet targets for FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expenses.

    + Create a conducive work environment for Team Leaders and Members to fulfill their responsibilities.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience managing a team of at least 30 employees, with the capacity to manage up to 60.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

    + Ability to hold employees accountable to processes, daily work assignments, safety, and quality standards.

    + Experience with payroll systems, including running reporting and scheduling.

    + Ability to work any shift, as well as rotating shifts and weekends.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience within the automotive industry.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates on a day shift from 5:00am to 5:00pm, with production running from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Candidates should be available from 5:00am to 4:00pm on average, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts, with an occasional Saturday if needed based on production

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Flat Rock, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.08 - $33.08/hr.
