Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you'll rotate through various roles including Tray Scraper, Cupper, Picker, Handpacker, and more. This position offers a comprehensive experience in food manufacturing with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

+ Wear and maintain gloves in a sanitary manner, switching them out as you rotate.

+ Supply cups for all cup setter magazines and ensure the correct cup paper size is used.

+ Clear stuck cup paper on the cupsetter head and reposition incorrectly deposited cup papers.

+ Scrape trays and keep the cupsetter area clean at all times.

+ Remove defective products from inspection belts and perform metal detection checks.

+ Clean Tonnaer screw and housing when the line is down for one shift or longer.

+ Fill cases with the required number of bags and monitor the integrity of bag seals.

+ Inspect wrapped products and perform quality tracking for finished products.

+ Rotate through stations in a timely fashion and record case counts.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general labor, packaging, and food manufacturing.

+ Proficiency in operating within a food production environment.

+ Capability to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts, with initial training on 1st shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in packer/picker, cleaning, and hand packing roles is preferred.

+ Must wear steel-toed or composite-toed shoes.

+ Pants must be worn, jeans are acceptable but cannot have rips.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled food manufacturing environment adhering to all GMPs. The role requires wearing a hair net/beard net, provided jacket, hard hat, gloves, and no jewelry. Long sleeves are permissible but cannot be rolled up. Work involves 2nd and 3rd shift rotations, with initial training on the 1st shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Hershey, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
