Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate for a plastic fencing company. This role involves removing products from the line, inspecting them for defects, and ensuring they meet specific order requirements. The Shipping Associate will match products to orders, pack them according to customer specifications, and load them onto skids while using protective materials to prevent damage during shipping. The position may require basic light assembly of parts, accurate counting, and ensuring shipments are complete and accurate. Additionally, the role involves operating a hand jack to move skids and loading/unloading push carts to various production or staging areas in the plant. The associate may also enter and remove items from inventory, ensuring precise documentation both on paper and digitally.

Responsibilities

+ Remove products from the line and inspect for defects.

+ Match products to specific orders and pack according to customer specifications.

+ Load products onto skids and apply protective materials to prevent damage during shipping.

+ Perform basic light assembly of parts as needed.

+ Accurately count and ensure shipments are complete and accurate.

+ Assist in other departments as necessary.

+ Operate a hand jack to move empty and loaded skids.

+ Load/unload push carts and move them to various production or staging areas.

+ Enter and remove items from inventory for accurate documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Basic packing and loading skills.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in packing, inspection, loading, staging products, unloading, stacking, assembly, labelling, and shipping & receiving.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
