Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This is a comprehensive maintenance position within a manufacturing facility. The plant is equipped with wax casting areas, heat treat machines, furnaces, chain conveyors, robots, vacuum systems, and various other components. The role involves responsibility for the upkeep of all facilities within the premises, including minor building maintenance. The primary focus will be on maintaining presses and other machine components, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring repairs are completed to allow production to resume efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and repairs on various machines and components, including presses.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within the facility.

+ Replace and repair motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical parts as needed.

+ Set robots back to 'home' to conduct maintenance work on other departmental issues.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain equipment readiness.

Essential Skills

+ 5-7 years of multi-craft troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience with 3 phase 480v electrical systems.

+ Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of pumps, gearboxes, and solenoids.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical prints.

+ Experience with electrical troubleshooting including motors, prox switches, and VFDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ PLC troubleshooting skills.

+ Basic robotic troubleshooting skills.

+ Ownership of personal tools is required.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
