Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate CNC SWISS machines to produce precision parts, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a cell of 1-2 CNC SWISS machines.

+ Utilize basic blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

+ Conduct minor inspections and perform 1st piece inspections on parts.

+ Start machines at the beginning of shifts and load raw materials into machines.

+ Identify and mark defective parts due to visual issues.

+ Perform minor deburring of parts as necessary.

+ Identify when tooling needs replacement.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of CNC operating experience with lathe or SWISS machines.

+ Experience reading blueprints.

+ Proficiency in using quality tools such as calipers and gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in medical or aerospace industries.

+ Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

+ Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Work Environment

Work in a very clean medical environment where eye protection is required. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 1 AM, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays and occasionally Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
