    Job Title: Diesel Master Mechanic

    Job Description

    Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, chassis, and other truck systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Replace or repair worn or defective parts such as bearings, brake pads, and belts. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and parts needs. Keep work area clean and organized.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in hydraulics and hydraulic assembly.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Experience with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.

    + General truck repairs and maintenance.

    + Knowledge of engine accessories removal.

    + Mechanical assembly and repair skills.

    + Experience with pneumatic systems.

    + Ability to operate, test, and diagnose various components.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Own roll-away tool cabinet and portable tool cart required.

    + Experience as a diesel truck mechanic.

    + Skills in using power tools.

    + Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a truck yard and garage bay setting. The role requires a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Enjoy a professional environment with a focus on safety and compliance, backed by a century-long history in the industry.

    The pay range for this position is $79000.00 - $102000.00/yr.
