Now Hiring a Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a technician familiar with basic construction trades to join our maintenance team! This person will be responsible for painting, drywall repair, patching, and light carpentry. The role involves preparing customer units for new leases by performing necessary repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

+ Paint and repair drywall and perform light carpentry work.

+ Fix customer units, including replacing lightbulbs, locks, and other appliances.

+ Patch holes in walls and apply paint as needed.

+ Perform janitorial duties, such as taking out garbage and general facility upkeep as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in painting, carpentry, or general construction.

+ Valid state-issued driver's license.

+ Consistent work history in repair, hand tool usage, appliance repair, drywall, painting, light fixtures, remodeling, carpentry, and apartment maintenance.

Work Environment

Technicians will work in properties such as Excelsior Park, Carriage Pines, and Broadway 385. The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a team size of 3-5 other technicians. A company vehicle is provided for facility use, and technicians are supplied with uniforms and enjoy a supportive and collaborative work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saratoga Springs, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
