    Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator proficient with Excavators of all sizes, Compact Truck Loaders, and Skid Steers. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in operating heavy machinery, maintaining accurate logs, and making safe decisions. You must be responsible, honest, and punctual, and always adhere to wearing the correct personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Responsibilities

    + Operate heavy equipment, including 85G Excavators and lower, without supervision.

    + Accurately log operations and maintain equipment.

    + Make safe and accurate decisions for yourself and others.

    + Wear the correct PPE at all times.

    + Follow directions and work collaboratively with the team.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with heavy equipment operation.

    + **_OSHA 10 Certificate and Drivers License- MUST HAVE BOTH_**

    + Ability to operate 85G Excavators and skid steers comfortably.

    + Minimum of one year of relevant experience.

    + Proficient in construction utility trenching and excavating.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Valid driver's license.

    + Reliable transportation.

    + Good communication skills.

    + Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

    + Physical capability to lift 50lbs or more.

    + Ability to work from heights.

    Work Environment

     

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Operators meet at the office at 4:45 AM and travel together to the work site, with paid drive time included. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE, with a focus on maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
