Medical Device Service Technician
**Location:** Sarasota

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically skilled Medical Device Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing, repair, and documentation of medical devices while supporting quality processes, inventory management, and cross‑department collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Repairs
+ Perform warranty and non‑warranty repairs based on work orders
+ Complete all required paperwork and service documentation accurately
+ Test, troubleshoot, and verify device functionality
+ Disinfect incoming devices according to established protocols
Inventory & Parts Management
+ Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate reorders as needed
+ Participate in routine inventory cycle counts
Quality & Compliance
+ Assist the Quality Management Representative (QMR) with quality management processes and incoming complaints
+ Maintain strict adherence to quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations
+ Follow instructions from the quality/environmental management representative and occupational safety specialist
Cross‑Functional Support
+ Collaborate with Sales and R&D teams as needed
+ Perform additional tasks as assigned to support department operations
Qualifications
+ Experience in technical repair, electronics, or medical device servicing preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
+ Ability to follow strict safety and quality protocols
+ Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Sarasota, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
