    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Seeking an Assembler to handle diverse assembly tasks for 3-axis units. This role involves meticulously adjusting, fitting, and aligning components to meet strict quality standards. You will acquire skills and knowledge in equipment assembly to ensure precision and correctness. The Assembler plans procedures, tests, and inspects assembled units to uphold our high-quality standards, preparing them for shipment to customers. This position also involves gaining expertise in preassembly and final assembly operations, as well as troubleshooting potential manufacturing issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble the machine by drilling, tapping, and mounting components according to blueprints, ensuring all components are fastened to specification and assembled within budgeted hours.

    + Position components precisely and plumb pneumatic and/or hydraulic lines as required, and set, adjust, and verify 3-axis machine travels to ensure the machine meets specifications.

    + Position necessary large parts utilizing the overhead crane.

    + Verify quality of parts at fitment and complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) as necessary.

    + Prepare workstation and ensure cleanliness.

    + Prepare machine for shipment: wipe, clean, prepare, and secure machine.

    + Align, position, and adjust close tolerance parts and gears.

    + Follow the Faro laser alignment procedures accordingly.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with hand tools

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Degree or GED

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Cloud, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
