Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for performing reactionary, preventative, and facility maintenance throughout the plant. You will support Plant 2, which focuses on the injection molding plastic processes. Although prior injection molding experience is not required, you should be comfortable working in such an environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform reactionary and preventative maintenance on machinery such as injection mold equipment, Fanuc robots, and conveyor systems.

+ Repair and maintain facility equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.

+ Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot issues.

+ Utilize welding and PLC troubleshooting skills for equipment repair.

+ Work with servo drives and possess a well-rounded mechanical aptitude, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hydraulics, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance.

+ Skilled in electrical maintenance, particularly with 3-phase systems.

+ Proficient in pneumatics and hydraulics.

+ Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.

+ Experience with voltmeters and welding is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Tier 2 qualification requires at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Tier 3 qualification requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Experience with Fanuc robotics and controls (PLC, vision systems) is preferred.

+ Injection molding, plastics, and robotics experience is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

The facility operates on traditional Monday through Friday shifts (11-7), with openings on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Expect to work every other Saturday, and anticipate an average of 8 hours of overtime per week. Although the facility is climate-controlled, be prepared for varying temperatures while performing maintenance tasks.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $67600.00/yr.
