Job Title: Industrial Mechanic
Job Description
This routine skilled work position covers several trades in maintenance, facilities, and construction. It represents a growth opportunity within the Maintenance department, contingent upon the successful completion of a standardized mechanical aptitude test and interview process. Filler Rebuild Level Maintenance Technicians perform various skilled tasks to inspect, repair, and maintain machinery, building, and equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Rebuild and maintain all filler pumps for Paint fill.
+ Keep pump rebuild area neat and clean, ensuring all parts inventory is maintained.
+ Analyze and make recommendations to improve uptime on fill units.
+ Maintain PM schedule on individual pumps and pump fill units.
+ Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment.
+ Assist skilled maintenance workers in a wide variety of assignments including conduit installation, conveyor repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and other work.
+ Move and carry heavy materials such as pipe, lumber, gravel, sand, or furniture.
+ Participate in preventive maintenance programs related to infrastructure equipment and safety concerns, including roof leak detection and pressure washing of exterior structures.
+ Perform routine mechanical repairs on filler units.
+ Complete tasks as part of the overall PM program; lubricate, oil, paint, clean, and repair machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specified procedures.
+ Assist in testing electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC controls and replace known individual components in these systems.
+ Develop and present training and communication sessions for the department related to new, modified, or equipment operations familiar to Filler Tech issues.
+ Understand the computerized maintenance management system, including accessing work assignments, printing work orders, and entering feedback from field findings.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in maintenance and preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting conveyors and bottling machinery.
+ Strong mechanical skills.

+ Capability to determine best methods and procedures for maintenance repairs.
+ Resourcefulness in solving non-recurring problems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
