Job Title: Inspector Packer - Day Shift** **Job Description

As an Inspector Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our manufactured parts. You will be responsible for visually inspecting parts coming off the production line for defects, assembling parts as necessary, and packaging quality products in accordance with policy, procedures, and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

+ Visually inspect manufactured parts for defects.

+ Assemble parts as required.

+ Package quality products according to company policy and ISO 9001 standards.

+ Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Utilize effective problem-solving skills to address production issues.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Experience in injection or blow molding is a plus.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

+ Knowledge of techniques, tools, machines, equipment, fixtures, and assembly procedures.

+ Good mechanical aptitude and intermediate computer skills.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment.

+ Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

+ Experience with weigh scales.

+ Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Demonstrated good attendance levels.

+ Potential for growth within the company.

+ Physical stamina and strength: ability to stand for 12 hours per shift and lift 15 to 20 lbs.

+ Experience with forklift, inventory, and RF scanner.

+ Ability to load and unload materials efficiently.

Work Environment

The role involves working in an inside environment with protection from weather, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Expect exposure to noise, requiring communication above ambient levels. The position involves proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, and potential exposure to high heat or chemicals. Physical demands include light work with exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently. The work environment also includes exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neptune, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
