Electrical Assembler

**Location:** Rockford, IL

**Shift:** 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

_(Occasional Saturday overtime)_

Job Summary

We’re hiring a **detail‑oriented Electrical Assembler** to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll assemble and install electrical wiring and components for control cabinets and industrial equipment, working from schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

What You’ll Do

+ Install power supply wiring, conduit, and unistrut for new and rebuilt machinery

+ Assemble bases, sills, cabinet frames, and structural components

+ Connect power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment

+ Lay out and follow wiring diagrams and electrical specifications

+ Drill, tap, and mount control units and electrical components

+ Cut, strip, bend, and form wire, conduit, and tubing for circuits and subassemblies

+ Solder connections, crimp connectors, and install color‑coded wiring in tight areas

+ Test, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical assemblies

+ Operate programmable controllers to verify proper functionality

What We’re Looking For

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

+ Experience with electrical panel wiring and troubleshooting

+ Familiarity with conduit bending and installation

+ 4+ years of electrical experience preferred

+ Recent graduates welcome

Preferred / Bonus Skills

+ Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

+ Experience in a production or manufacturing environment

+ Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition

+ Mechanical assembly skills and comfort working in industrial settings

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
