    Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented forklift operators for two immediate openings on the swing shift. This hands-on, fast-paced role is perfect for individuals with proven experience operating stand-up forklifts. The schedule includes day shifts from Friday to Tuesday, starting at 6 am, with a 10 am start on Sundays.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate stand-up forklifts such as Reach Truck and Order Picker, as well as propane sit-down forklifts.

    + Unload and load freight from containers and trucks efficiently.

    + Perform quality checks and measure each item accurately.

    + Palletize, transfer, and use RF scanners to verify product accuracy.

    + Regularly lift and move items weighing 50–75 lbs.

    + Participate in offloading during initial days to understand supply chain flow.

    + Flex between forklift operation and freight handling as needed (Inbound: 60% on forklift / 40% off; Outbound: 60% on forklift / 40% off).

    Essential Skills

    + Stand-up forklift experience (Reach/Order Picker) is a must.

    + Ability to work with minimal training.

    + Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

    + Willingness to undergo STA/TSA screening prior to starting.

    + Must pass forklift test before the first day.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Cross Dock Experience in warehousing is required.

    + Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly, and occasionally lift 120 lbs. between two people.

    + Attention to detail when reading numbers and labels.

    + Willingness to unload/load trucks for the entirety of the shift.

    + At least 6 months of 'Stand Up' forklift experience is required for forklift drivers.

    + Preferred experience with Crown Electric standup loader/cherry picker/stand up reach forklift.

    + Preferred experience with various styles of sit-down forklifts.

    Work Environment

    This role is based at a TSA Building in Kent, WA, within an expeditors warehouse. The facility features products stacked on racks in the center with dock doors surrounding the perimeter. Forklifts are actively moving throughout the facility and in/out of containers. Candidates will work in a medium-sized team of over 10 employees, with a dynamic and bustling warehouse atmosphere.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
