Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description

Join a medium-sized company that specializes in producing overhead cranes and job shop work. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for running all wiring for the assembly of overhead cranes, including wiring motors, running conduit, and wiring control panels and crane controllers.

Responsibilities

+ Run all wiring for the assembly of overhead cranes.

+ Wire motors, run conduit, and wire control panels and crane controllers.

+ Read and interpret prints, engineering drawings, written instructions, manuals, and safety rules.

+ Work in other areas such as manual machining and assembly if needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and engineering drawings.

+ Ability to work with forklifts, cranes, slings, and hooks.

+ Must be able to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as crouching, standing, and twisting.

+ Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and using conduit.

+ Tech Grad qualification for an Electrician.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in welding, including MIG welding.

+ Willingness to work in an industrial plant and not in the field.

+ No travel required.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial facility with large ceilings and venting systems. The use of PPE, including helmets, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots, is required and provided. Hearing protection is also needed. Enjoy working in a stable environment without the need for travel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waite Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
