Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift/3rd Shift** **Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and optimizing production equipment. Your role will involve preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring overall production goals are met. You will have the opportunity to work on advanced machinery and be a key player in our continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance tasks using a tablet to track schedules and tasks.

+ Troubleshoot and repair production and stamping press equipment, weld cells, and other machinery.

+ Replace pneumatics, sensors, motors, and gears as needed.

+ React promptly to equipment downtimes, with a focus on minimizing disruptions.

+ Work with European electrical schematics and handle electrical circuits from 24V to 480V.

+ Collaborate with the Byron Center plant team on preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshooting tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Industrial maintenance experience on machinery.

+ Electrical troubleshooting on machinery and equipment.

+ Proficiency with pneumatics and mechanical systems.

+ Experience with European electrical schematics.

+ Familiarity with robotic welding and Fanuc robots.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to edit Fanuc programs for weld cells.

+ Continuous improvement methods or leadership experience.

+ Fabrication experience with racks and carts.

Work Environment

Work in our largest plant located in Byron Center with over 200 employees working across three shifts. You will have a chance to collaborate with a dedicated team in a facility equipped with stamping and robotic cells. The 2nd shift operates from 2pm-10pm Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday overtime every other weekend. The 3rd shift runs from 10pm-6am Sunday night to Friday morning, with overtime as needed. Initial training will be provided on a split shift for 1-2 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Byron Center, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
