    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our production line. Key duties include operating the ingot casting line, managing densimeter operations, and ensuring proper ladle levels at the pour station. You will also be involved in furnace charging, which includes measuring levels, operating furnace controls, and weighing materials using scales. The role requires you to understand and manage furnace exhaust, pump control operations, and handle the circulation process, including skimming and shipping. Additionally, you will operate forklifts, front-end loaders, a spectrometer, and milling and sanding machines. Maintaining accurate operational records and assisting in training and directing other team members are also essential aspects of this position.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain the ingot casting line.

    + Manage densimeter operations.

    + Ensure proper level of ladle at the pour station.

    + Conduct furnace charging by measuring levels, operating controls, and weighing materials.

    + Operate furnace exhaust, damper, and door controls.

    + Understand and manage pump control operations.

    + Handle circulation processes, including skimming and shipping.

    + Execute furnace tapping techniques to unplug/plug the furnace.

    + Operate forklifts and front-end loaders.

    + Utilize spectrometer, milling, and sanding machines.

    + Maintain accurate operational records.

    + Assist in training and guiding inexperienced team members.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates in a hot, dusty, and noisy plant environment. The work schedule follows a 2x3x2 pattern, alternating between day shifts from 7am to 7pm and night shifts from 7pm to 7am.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.15 - $21.15/hr.
