Job Title: Maintenance Manager** **Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all plant equipment and facilities. This role ensures optimal equipment uptime and efficiency across three operating shifts, leading a team of maintenance leads, mechanics, and electricians.

Responsibilities

+ Train, develop, and manage a multi-shift maintenance team to ensure 24/7 operational support.

+ Provide technical directions to maintenance teams across three shifts, including shift leads, mechanics, and electricians.

+ Coordinate and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

+ Lead in-house mechanical and process improvement projects from design through execution.

+ Develop and implement maintenance programs and standard operating procedures.

+ Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement.

+ Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.

+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and project documentation.

+ Drive a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.

+ Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills

+ Proven leadership experience in a managerial role, preferably overseeing multiple shifts.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead in-house improvement projects.

+ Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Degree or trade school (Preferred).

+ At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

+ Experience in machine assembly, welding, mechanical troubleshooting, continuous improvement, automation, and machine repair.

+ Familiarity with maintenance documentation, operation, and supervisory skills.

Work Environment

This role operates within a challenging and dynamic environment that requires full PPE, including a respirator, hazmat suits, steel toes, and safety glasses. The facility demands a clean-shaven appearance at all times. The shift is from 8 am to 4 pm, with the expectation to be on call for all three shifts if needed.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
