Job Title: Sheet Metal Installer Lead** **Job Description
We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Installer Leads with 4-6 years of expertise to join our team. You will be involved in exciting projects in the Richmond area, including the Innsbrook and Downtown locations, with project durations ranging from 6 months to a year. Candidates should be prepared to bring their own hand tools to the job site.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
+ Lead and manage a crew of 2 to 6 team members, depending on experience.
+ Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately.
+ Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement.
+ Supervise daily tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
+ Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
+ Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety.
Essential Skills
+ 4-6 years of experience in sheet metal installation.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
+ Experience in HVAC, duct work, and construction.
+ Ability to perform installations and fabrications accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to perform laboring duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ Physical ability to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
+ Capability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsville, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
