    Customer Service Support Associate (Super Bowl Event Support)

    **Location:** San Jose Airport

    **Assignment Length:** 5 days

    Overview

     

    San Jose Airport is seeking energetic, customer‑focused individuals to provide exceptional hospitality during a high‑traffic period surrounding the Super Bowl. This short‑term assignment supports our private aviation operations by offering additional hands‑on assistance to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for all passengers. Contractors will rotate through various stations and perform a range of customer service and support tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Guide arriving vehicles to appropriate parking areas at the front of the facility (note: no valet services; guidance only).

    + Warmly welcome passengers entering or exiting the FBO, offering directions, assistance with luggage, and general support.

    + Assist with catering tasks, including placing and distributing catering orders, setting up food and beverage areas, cleaning dishes, and maintaining organized refreshment stations.

    + Perform light cleaning duties such as spot‑cleaning surfaces and floors as needed.

    + Handle passenger baggage in designated non‑tarmac areas.

    + Follow training instructions carefully and execute responsibilities with attention to detail.

    Required Skills

    + Strong customer service and hospitality mindset

    + Ability to maintain a courteous, professional demeanor at all times

    + Comfort supporting passengers and working in a fast‑paced environment

    + General support and front‑desk–style service experience is helpful

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Ability to pass airport compliance requirements

    + Experience in airport baggage handling

    + Background in hospitality, concierge services, or high‑touch customer service

    + Experience directing lobby or parking‑lot traffic with professionalism and courtesy

    + Demonstrated ability to provide elevated hospitality, especially in private aviation environments

    This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
