    Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic working with a large fleet at a bustling vegetable packing facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a fleet consisting of 100 semi-trucks, crucial for the distribution of products commonly found in major grocery chains.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct detailed troubleshooting and diagnostics on semi-truck transmissions, hydraulics, and engines.

    + Perform full engine repairs to restore trucks to working order.

    + Collaborate with separate technicians for maintenance of refrigerated trucks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in diesel mechanics, including engine and transmission repair.

    + Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

    + Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with heavy equipment is advantageous.

    + Experience in a high-volume fleet maintenance environment is preferred.
