Job Title: Operator** **Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Electrode Department as an Operator, where you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will work on a rotating schedule with day and night shifts, ensuring seamless operation and quality in our mixing department.
Responsibilities
+ Operate machinery in the mixing department, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
+ Wear a full respirator mask while handling and mixing powders.
+ Carry 30-pound bags of powder up and down stairs 2-3 times a day to initiate the mixing process.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards by avoiding jewelry and maintaining cleanliness.
+ Handle slurry, a mix of powder, acid, and water, while ensuring proper protective equipment is worn.
+ Prepare equipment and materials for production and maintain accurate production records in the Global Manufacturing Execution System (GMES).
+ Monitor production for defects and losses, ensuring continuous quality through self-inspection.
+ Track non-conformities and scraps for quality assurance.
Essential Skills
+ At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
+ Minimum tenure of 9 months at each previous job.
+ Proficiency in production, cleanroom operations, assembly, and machine operation.
+ Ability to work in a PPE-required environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with the Global Manufacturing Execution System (GMES) is advantageous.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, meticulously clean, temperature-controlled facility that requires significant walking from building to building. The cleanroom department necessitates wearing a garb and beard net if applicable, emphasizing a commitment to cleanliness and safety. The facility is brightly lit and adheres to 5S3K standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
