    Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and capable individual to join our team as a General Production Worker. This role requires you to engage in a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. You will also utilize computer systems for data entry and order tracking. Ideal candidates will possess some experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Consistently lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

    + Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

    + Use a computer for data entry and tracking purposes.

    + Operate and safely use step ladders, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.

    + Read location labels and use an RF scanner for order tracking.

    + Work in a warehouse setting to process orders and manage inventory.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

    + Proficiency in bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

    + Basic computer skills for data entry.

    + Experience in using step ladders and reading location labels.

    + Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.

    + English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Shrink wrap and pallet jack experience.

    + Experience with RF scanners.

    + High School Diploma.

    + Military experience.

    Work Environment

    Enjoy a nice, clean environment with five different levels. The facility features long rows that illuminate as you work, providing a quiet atmosphere where you can listen to music. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday, with a lighter workload on Saturdays from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Employees receive two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
